TruDesign Skin Fittings with Tail offers a superior composite thru-hull solution. The body and nut of the Skin Fitting with Tail are molded from glass fiber-reinforced nylon composite. High-strength, high-modulus glass fibers impregnated into the nylon provide significant strength, stiffness, toughness, and dimensional stability. TruDesign Skin Fittings with Tail eliminates metallic fittings’ corrosion and electrical bonding problems. They meet ISO International Standards, ensuring performance in the harsh marine environment.
Molded from glass-reinforced nylon composite. High-strength, high-modulus glass fibers within the nylon composite provide dramatic strength, stiffness, toughness, and dimensional stability. These properties allow a significant weight reduction over metallic fittings.

TruDesign Skin Fittings with Tails (3/4″ and above) are certified by the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) to meet; ISO 9093:2021 Small craft — Seacocks and through-hull fittings.
