Solar Charge Controller
The MPPT VE. Can SmartSolar charger utilize the latest and fastest technology to efficiently convert energy from a solar array into power that optimally charges a battery bank. This smart charge controller is capable of recharging a severely depleted battery and can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, as long as the cells are not permanently sulphated or damaged.
Models:12/24/36/48 Volt
MPPT: Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking
The MPPT VE. Can SmartSolar charger can connect to a PV array with a voltage open circuit (Voc) of 150 or 250 Volts and automatically detect and charge your 12, 24, or 48V battery bank. The charging current ranges from 70 to 100A depending on the model. You can fully program the charge settings and customize them for different battery chemistries such as lead acid, lithium, etc.
Control Your SmartSolar Charger Remotely
The MPPT VE. Can the Smart Solar charger be remotely controlled and configured over Bluetooth via the VictronConnect App? This feature allows for device setup, and management, and provides at-a-glance information including battery voltage and current, PV voltage and current, as well as historical data.
Daisy Chain Additional Units
The VE. Can Smart Solar charger be equipped with CAN bus ports to enable communication with additional VE. Can Smart Solar chargers. These additional units are connected using a single RJ45 cable in a “daisy chained” configuration. When connected, all individual VE. Can Smart Solar chargers synchronize their charge stages and send their data to a GX monitoring device via a single cable.
SmartSolar Tr Ve. Can Remote Monitoring and Control
If the GX device is connected to the internet, the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) provides access to the full power of your solar charger(s). Even for remote installations without an internet connection nearby, you may still be able to monitor your MPPT by connecting the GlobalLink 520.
SmartSolar Control Display
The Smart Solar charger can be equipped with a VE. Direct port, similar to our other MPPT solar chargers. This port can be used for single-unit monitoring or streetlight control. The remote on/off connector can be controlled externally by a third-party device, such as a lithium battery. Additionally, an optional plug-in LCD/control panel provides live data, setup, and management directly from the device.
